1. 일시 : 03월 21일 (금) 오후 4시-5시2. 장소 : 아산이학관 526호(권택연 세미나실)3. 연사 : 이용남 교수님 (KAIST 수리과학과)4. 제목 : Elliptic surfaces and their compact moduli spaces 5. 초록 : Elliptic surface is a surface that has an elliptic fibration over a smooth algebraic curve.Elliptic surfaces form a large class of surfaces that contains many of the interesting examples of surfaces, and are also important to understand boundary of KSBA compact moduli of surfaces of general type.Motivated by Miranda and Ascher-Bejleri’s works on compactification of moduli space of rational elliptic surfaces with a section, we study to construct compact moduli space of elliptic surfaces with a multiple fiber.Particular emphasis is placed on the study of rational elliptic surfaces with a multiple fiber and Dolgachev surfaces. The main approach to understanding limit surfaces is Q-Gorenstein smoothing of singular surfaces.
